Martin Luther King Jr Day; no classes, so no regular GMU!

INSTEAD!!

Join us in the Atrium for “Feed the Kids 2,” a “MLK Celebration of Service” any time between 11:30 to 1:30 as we pack food for orphanages and refugee camps around the world in honor of Dr King’s commitment to serving and caring for humanity.

Also, in honor of Dr King, some of his greatest quotes:

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”

“Science investigates; religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge, which is power; religion gives man wisdom, which is control. Science deals mainly with facts; religion deals mainly with values. The two are not rivals.”

“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”

“Everyone can be great because anyone can serve.”

“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.”

“The quality, not the longevity, of one’s life is what is important.”

“Only in the darkness can you see the stars.”
