“I decided to know nothing among you except….”    1 Corinthians 2:2

 

I just keep looking and remembering more words of Biblical wisdom that captured my attention this week in Ephesians and Galatians.

 

  1. By GRACE I am saved through FAITH—SO THAT I can’t boast
  2. My best response is to choose to “crucify myself” and become “alive in, and because of, Christ” ONLY.

 

I was looking at 1 Corinthians today and found some more help in this journey:

  1. “If I must boast, I’ll boast in the Lord.”          1:30
  2. I’ll consciously try to” know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” 2:2
  3. Because I learned that “my faith does not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”
  4. Because, “the source of my life is Christ Jesus, because God (and God alone) made possible:
    1. My wisdom
    2. My righteousness
    3. My sanctification
    4. And my redemption”  1:30

 

If it’s not all about Jesus, it’s really not about Jesus at all!
