Subject: It's April 22; Good Morning Union

Today is brought to you by the letter N

No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11

I like the verses that come right before this one too. “Better is one day in your court than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than to dwell in the tents of the wicked. The Lord is a sun and a shield; He bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the Lord withhold from whose who walk uprightly.”

Turning those verses into a prayer I get, “God:

  1. I would rather be with You than anywhere else
  2. Give me the most humbling assignment You want, because that will be better than defaulting to being around the tings of this life which are distractors from You.
  3. You are my warmth and my shade; just enough of each to take good care of me.
  4. You are the author of all good.
  5. And You promise me that when I choose You I’ll be well taken care of

Amen!”

Have a great day choosing and trusting God,

Pastor Rich

Quote of the day:       “Advice to my younger self:
1          Start where you are with what you have
2          Try not to hurt other people
3          Take more chances
4          If you fail, keep trying”
