God's Judgment 

Beautiful People,

Believe it or not, God's judgment brings peace. Before we jump into this topic, I would like for us to look at the word judgment from the perspective of unconditional divine sacrificial love. From this frame of reference, judgment is an end to all things contrary to love. The term "all" encompasses sin, hell, death, the Devil, the fallen angels, and everyone who decides to live without Christ. God's judgment is the final word in this Great Controversy that wars internally and externally. Unfortunately, we have erroneously used the "judgment of God" to scare people into religion.

Tactics of fear, intimidation, and control are not aligned with God's character but with the Devil's character. The Devil continues to create a misapprehension of God's character, where society either disregards His existence or attributes negative and slanderous remarks against Him. The beauty of God's character and heart is that He can bear all of this without ceasing His ministry of reconciliation. Because of Christ's redemptive and reconciliatory work, we NEVER have to fear the judgment day; in fact, the final judgment is good news to those in Christ because it ushers in a true era of peace. How can we be certain that the judgment day is good news?
 

"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory" (Ephesians 1:13-14)

Jesus paid the ultimate price that gave us right standing with the Father. The Spirit is a deposit and guarantees that God's judgment will bring eternal peace to this war-torn world. God's judgment ends all pain, bigotry, assault, theft, murder, envy, lust, death, and sin. The judgment of God is against all that is bad in our world. Why should you fear it since you are made right with God through the blood of Christ? Take courage, friends, your name is written in the book of life because of Jesus. When your name is called, and you stand before the throne of God, all you will have, and all you will need is the righteousness that comes from the One who came down to save you. God's judgment is good news because of Jesus of Christ.
