Subject: It's March 12; Good Morning Union

In my travels and attempt to keep GMU flowing I am hearing that that has not been the case. I'm sending, or resending, the last three days just so you know that even from Africa I still believe God continues to be faithful as we stay faithful to Him. My prayers are with all of you, and especially our college administration as they navigate these totally uncharted waters. Stay healthy and stay calm. Responsibility it crucial, but panic could be worse than the virus!

“Live in peace with each other.”        1 Thessalonians 5:13

As I keep reading Paul’s letter I keep seeing the passion he has for his dear friends to live lives that identify them clearly as God’s children. Another list this morning of his practical counsel and care for those he loved so much. I can relate to those He has brought into my life at Union. Here’s Paul’s wisdom on calling with purpose:

  1. “Live in peace with each other
  2. Warn those who are idle
  3. Encourage the timid
  4. Help the weak
  5. Be patient with everyone
  6. Don’t pay back wrong for wrong
  7. Be kind!”

Summarized- be nice to everyone!! What more can I say?

Have a great day just being nice to everyone,

Pastor Rich
