“Choose this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”    Joshua 24:15

I’m free!! Sort of! All that has really changed is that if I get COVID19 it won’t be because I traveled internationally. I STILL plan to remain responsible to my society and continue with social distancing, hand washing, staying at home whenever possible, and making wise choices about my physical care by continuing my exercise program. I’ll still end with a cold shower to help stimulate my immune system. AND I will continue to maintain my connection with God SO THAT I retain my anchor and my firm foundation with Him as this Corona Virus lashes out at the world. I still have to make good choices and be responsible. Just heard on the news how our American society is coping—alcohol sales last month were up 243%! I’m glad I have a much better solution to the stresses of life. I pray you do too.

Here’s a story from WAY back that reminds me of these life lessons:

An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life: "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."

Have a great day choosing wisely whom and what you feed,

Pastor Rich

Quote for the day:                  “IF God could close the mouth of the lions for Daniel, part the Red Sea for Moses, make the sun stand still for Joshua, open the prison door for Peter, put a baby in the arms of Sarah, and raise Lazarus from the dead, THEN He ca certainly take care of you! Nothing you are facing today is too hard for Him to handle.”
