39^th Annual--- PROJECT IMPACT!! SEE YOU SOON!!

"I tell you the truth, whatever you do today for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you are doing it for Me." Matthew 25:40

Today is Project Impact!! Don’t worry about the lightning you might see to the south; that’s where it’s supposed to stay. Only a 20% chance of rain so we’re still good to go! Temp is supposed to stay in the 70s. (Yep, I've already been up checking the weather!) So, up and at 'em; bring your friends and get ready to be a part of the biggest and longest running college-sponsored event of its kind in the nation! But we're not just going out to set a record, though today extends our record, or even to just do nice things for other people. We're going out to do nice things to Jesus. This morning you will be joining 800+ others of the UC family providing over 3200 hours of volunteer service! You will be demonstrating to the Lincoln community what Union is all about. AND you will be living out an illustration of Jesus as you give of yourself for others and thereby give of yourself for Jesus.

I also hope you discover the joy of service, not just for today, but as a way of life. You might just find one of our 59 sites we'll be serving today as a place you could go back to with your friends and continue experiencing the joy of giving. That's my dream for PI.

So I'll see you under the Clocktower at 8:00, for breakfast (thank you ASB), your new PI shirt (designed by Elissa!), the experience, joy (and fun) of service, AND for pizza at 1:30 this afternoon (thank you Business Computer Science Division!)

Be a part of the largest and longest running community service day of ANY college or university in North America!!! GO UNION!!
