Luke 18

“Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and never give up.”  Vs 1

The parable of the persistent widow is another one that I have not found full peace with yet. But here are five lessons from God I saw this morning as I read it and the other stories in this chapter again:

  1. I WILL answer your prayers; be persistent; don’t give up. Do you trust Me if you have to wait for My timing?
  2. I WILL hear the prayers of the humble. Do you believe Me?
  3. I WILL accept those who come like children, trusting Me. Will you be willing to humble rather than exalt yourself?
  4. I WILL do the impossible for those who follow me with their whole lives? Can you prioritize your life accordingly?
  5. I WILL respond to any cry for help. Do you have faith in my ways?

I don’t understand it all yet, but I’m making progress. Thank you Jesus for this morning’s insights.

Have a great day continually searching God’s word for HIS direction,

Pastor Rich
