Subject: It's August 15; Good Morning Union Special Sabbath Edition

“This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

Here’s what we have for you today for your “rejoicing!”

The Well- 10:30am, Heartland Hall in the Church (that’s right about the Young Adult Room where we met last week, just with much more space!)- this is our primary Sabbath School and it happens at the church because we want you to be connecting with a local church on Sabbath. This is a time of food, fellowship and feasting on God’s Word. Join us each Sabbath morning.

CVC- 9:15am and Noon- there are two worship services at College View Church (CVC) each Sabbath. You are welcome to go to either (or both, thought they are usually both the same!). Our Lead Pastor Harold Alomia will be speaking.

SOS- make Sabbath afternoon special by “doing good” for someone. Enjoy some down time with your friends AND look for something you can do to bless someone else.

V2- 8:00pm, Front Campus, between Rees and Engel Halls- This is our “close the Sabbath” time when we come together for 30 minutes of singing and you of you sharing their current journey with Jesus. It’s a great way to end the Sabbath and all are welcome.

Have a great Sabbath,

Pastor Rich

Quote for the day:      “If serving doesn’t cost you anything, it probably doesn’t change anything either.” Chris Conlee

Email of the week: Each Sabbath I’ll share with you the best blog/email/post that I saw this week. So here’s one I saw recently:
