Subject: It's September 5; Good Morning Union Special Sabbath Edition

“This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”     Psalm 118:24

Here’s what we have to help your rejoicing:

  1. Spend some quiet time with God
  2. Spend some quiet time for yourself
  3. Spend some quality time with friends
  4. “Shabat” and “Remember”
  5. Then respond by doing something good for someone who can’t pay you back!

Quote for the day:      Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.

The Well- our Young Adult Sabbath School at College View Church will happen at 10:40am in the Heartland Hall Room (right above the Young Adult Room). Join us for fellowship and praise each Sabbath morning.

CVC- 9:15 and noon, each Sabbath morning. Hear lead pastor Harold Alomia continuing his series on “The Alternative Way.”

Virginia Simmons Memorial Service, TODAY @ 4pm on Campus Ministries Facebook

V2- sundown vespers @ 7:30pm- V2 happens the 30 minutes that contain sundown so it keeps getting earlier as the daylight gets shorter and fall approaches. This week we’ll be at the Rock Pile and Nelda will be sharing with us.

And to all our ladies at Union College, this is just for you:

A Strong Woman vs A Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape,
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything,
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her,
but a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone...

Thank you for first being women of strength, and THEN strong women! Love you all like a grandpa!

Have a great Sabbath,

Pastor Rich
