“The goal: LOVE, which comes from…”          1 Timothy 1:5

I like clarity and simplicity! If it’s important to God, it’s clear in His word. Have I said that before? Paul’s great summary statement to his understudy Timothy meets my expectations and needs! The goal is love; love comes from three things, according to Paul:

  1. A pure heart- that takes care of the moral challenges wrongly defined as love
  2. A good conscience- that takes care of ethical challenges wrongly called love
  3. A sincere faith- that takes care of the spiritual challenges wrongly identified as love

It doesn’t have to be hard. I Just have to love, from a morally pure, ethically sound, and spiritually stable place in all of life and I will be fulfilling God’s goal.
