“He has shown you O man what is good….”  Micah 6:8

A third category from my dad’s list of texts might be called Absolute Bottom Line Living. I like clarifying texts and clear instructions when it comes to following God. I know I can’t understand all of it because I’m not God so I’m fine with trusting and exercising faith when needed. But sometimes it’s comforting to find spiritual clarity too. Remember, if it’s important to God it’s clear in His Word!

Well, dad’s text for today is about as clear as I can find so I conclude it must be about as important as it can get! “He has shown you O man what is good, and what does the Lord require of you?....:

  1. Do justly
  2. Love mercy
  3. Walk humbly with your God.”
  1. Do what’s right no matter if anyone is watching or not
  2. Learn to enjoy being kind even if people aren’t kind back
  3. Remember who God is- (hint: It’s not me and it’s not you!) That will keep me from pride and keep me from losing focus.
