“The joy of the Lord is your strength.”           Nehemiah 8:10

Continuing from Yesterday- WHAT IF my strength comes from knowing that God finds joy in ME?

Or, let me turn a few other ones around! “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who respects Him and delivers them.” Psalm 34:8. My deliverance comes when I know that the Lord’s angels will do the delivering when I respect and am in awe of Him.

The bible is full of them

            The name of the Lord- the Lord’s name is my stronghold

            The voice of the Lord- the Lord’s voice give me direction

            The blessings of the Lord- His blessings are abundant if I just take time to look

            The hand of the Lord- the Lord’s hand makes my way steady

            The glory of the Lord- the Lord’s glory is my strength

It’s all about “the Lord!” not about me! If my joy comes from me being strong I’m in trouble. I am strong because the Lord finds joy in me! It’s HIS name, HIS voice, HIS blessings, HIS hand, HIS glory, that provides all I need. It’s all about Him and not about me!
