Just thought I would take a break in writing and let you see the texts that your President’s Council looked at this week for our devotional. Can you see a theme? Do you see a trend? This pretty much summarizes the dreams and aspirations your Union College administrative team has for you and our whole campus. We are VERY blessed to have them leading our school.

This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. John 15:12

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. John 13:34

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covered a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more…. Hebrews 10:24-25

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves Philippians 2:3

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:4

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bear with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2

What a great focus for today and everyday for my attitude and my actions toward everyone I meet.
