“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance…”        1 Timothy 1:15; 4:9

That phrase caught my attention! Paul said it twice to Timothy in his first letter to him.  Sounds pretty significant! Here’s what he said that was so “trustworthy”:

  1. “Christ Jesus came to save sinners, of whom I am the worst
  2. But for this very reason I was shown mercy SO THAT
  3. Christ Jesus might display His unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life
  4. We have put our hope in THIS living God”

Jesus came to save me, no matter what terrible things I think I have done. If He could show mercy to Paul after all the things he did, I’m sure He can do the same to me. He has unlimited patience for me as I continue learning how to believe on Him and receive eternal life. In THIS I put my hope.

Sounds pretty “trustworthy” and something that “deserves full acceptance” to me!

Have a great day discovering the most important things in life,

Pastor Rich

Quote for the day:      “If there is no absolute truth because truth, by its very nature is that which does not and cannot change, then evolution cannot be true because evolution by definition means change!”
