Celebrate God
Life without celebration can become dreary. Christ’s first miracle of turning water into wine was centered on the celebration of marriage. Paul celebrated the Philippian church and their love for the Gospel and Him. Celebration brings joy and a realization of the blessings God has provided. Celebration reveals the heart of God.
When I call each of you “beautiful,” I celebrate God’s creativeness and intentionality in creating you. So, friends, what are you celebrating today, and how is your celebration bringing you closer to Jesus? Paul teaches us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” God’s radical will for us is to celebrate in all circumstances. In other words, each day is full of moments where we can celebrate the character and heart of God. There are 10,000+ reasons to praise God. We just need to be intentional in naming them.
Here is a challenge to radically transform your mind; find ten reasons to celebrate God today and share them with a friend. Make this into a habit.
