Update on working tomorrow

This has been a rough few days for Union's infrastructure. We are very grateful for the Plant Services and IS teams who have been working through the weekend to ensure we have a safe and comfortable working environment this week. Unfortunately, their work is not yet done. It will take some time to get all systems running again. 

Currently, all buildings have power; however, not all have air conditioning. All classes have been moved online. We believe most departments can continue working, and all employees should come to work as planned unless other arrangements have been made with your supervisor. 

Supervisors, please contact IS (ext. 2121) if you or your coworkers have issues with air conditioning or computers that no longer work after the brownout. IS will help you solve the issue or find a temporary working location. Plant Services may not be reachable at all times, so please remember to direct reports and questions to IS for the time being.
