To students and employees still on campus,
I’m very thankful for a great spring semester where we eventually were able to remove nearly all special COVID mitigation policies. However, with a new variant causing an increase in COVID cases in the Lincoln area, our local health department has raised the threat indicator back into the moderate (yellow) range to indicate caution.
We do NOT plan to implement any new policies at this time, but I want to remind you to help stop the spread of COVID variants, the flu and other illnesses on campus by following the protocols that are currently in place:
- If you have any illness symptoms, you must stay home and fill out the symptom form at ucollege.edu/health
- Get a COVID test immediately and report the results at ucollege.edu/health
- Please do not go to work or class until you are cleared by Campus Health (students) or HR (employees).
I look forward to a great summer and I believe we can all stay healthy if we work together.
If you have questions, please visit ucollege.edu/covid or email covid@ucollege.edu
Blessings to you,
Vinita Sauder
