Here is some context. Prospective students pay a $100 deposit to gain access to the Union portal and register for classes. This is a significant indicator of whether a student will actually enroll at Union. Union has set a deposit goal of 247 based on looking at seven years of data and considering several strategic initiatives (see the letter at right) that help make a Union College education accessible to more students.\

Bridge to Union Scholarship—covers tuition for many families that isn't covered by federal aid (ucollege.edu/bridge-to-union)
Freshman scholarships good for a year—any student accepted in 2020 will qualify for the same scholarships for 2021 even if they didn't enroll in 2020.
Nursing Transfer Scholarships—Great scholarships for joining the nursing program (ucollege.edu/nursingnow)
Promising Teacher and Promising Pastor Scholarships—One awarded per Mid-America Union academy (for Mid-America schools only).
