Student Senate Applications

Applications are still open for Student Senate! Whether you are an undergraduate student or graduate student, a residential student or live off-campus, we'd love to have you represent your peers in Union's Student Senate. Senate is the best way to help improve the campus experience here at Union and represent your fellow students to university administration.

Just this last year, Senate simplified the final exam schedule, got rid of quarters in the dorm laundry system, improved SA budget oversight, and voiced key student concerns about finances and the cafeteria (leading to changes by university administration).

If any of this sounds interesting, we'd love to have you apply! This is a great resume-building opportunity (graduate schools and post-undergrad employers love to see leadership experience) and a chance to get involved in student government and have a real impact.

Meeting times: Tuesdays 10:30-11:20 AM
Pay stipend: $100 per semester (extra bonuses and incentives available)
