Subject: It's August 22; Good Morning Union Special Sabbath Edition

“This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

Here’s what we have for you today for your “rejoicing!”

The Well- 10:30am, Heartland Hall in the Church (that’s right about the Young Adult Room where we met last week, just with much more space!)- this is our primary Sabbath School and it happens at the church because we want you to be connecting with a local church on Sabbath. This is a time of food, fellowship and feasting on God’s Word. Join us each Sabbath morning.

CVC- 9:15am and Noon- there are two worship services at College View Church (CVC) each Sabbath. You are welcome to go to either (or both, thought they are usually both the same!). Our Lead Pastor Harold Alomia will be speaking.

SOS- make this Sabbath afternoon special by looking at the prayer list that I attached and pick one of the requests and specifically pray for that person and their need. This list came from the requests submitted at uGather this week. We usually put them on the screen and pray for them during uGather but this year, at least for now, being outside, that make it a bit difficult. So let’s pray today on Sabbath for the needs of our school family.

V2- 8:00pm, Front Campus, near the Clocktower- This is our “close the Sabbath” time when we come together for 30 minutes of singing and one of you sharing your current journey with Jesus. This week Dareille Joseph will be sharing. It’s a great way to end the Sabbath and all are welcome.

Have a great Sabbath,

Pastor Rich

Quote for the day:      "If you ask, 'Why is this happening?' no light will come, but if you ask, 'How am I to glorify God now?' there will always be an answer."  J. I. Packer
